Why Healthcare Is Personal to Me

One of the questions I sometimes get is why we invest so much in healthcare benefits for our team.

The answer is simple.

Because I've lived without it.

I grew up in a rural area where healthcare wasn't always accessible.

When someone got sick, the first solution was often herbal remedies or home treatments.

Many families delayed seeing a doctor because they simply couldn't afford it.

Too often, by the time medical care was sought, the illness had already become serious.

I remember how stressful that uncertainty felt.

Not knowing if your family could afford treatment.

Not knowing what would happen if someone became seriously ill.

Those experiences stayed with me.

That's why healthcare isn't just another employee benefit at Konektao.

It's personal.

When we provide HMO coverage, we're not just supporting employees.

We're helping provide peace of mind for the people they love.

Because when a spouse, parent, or child gets sick, the stress affects the entire family.

Healthcare should not be a luxury.

Everyone deserves access to care before a health issue becomes a crisis.

As a founder, I don't want to build a company that only provides paychecks.

I want to build a company that supports people.

Because behind every employee is a family counting on them.

And behind every family is a story.
